Gratitude-Filled Journeys: Reflections from María del Mar
Lately, I’ve been feeling deeply overwhelmed with gratitude. The past two months have been an extraordinary journey full of travel, family time, and precious moments that nourished my heart and spirit.
Exploring Peru: A Journey to the Sacred Valley
I traveled to Peru with Erika and Milagros to scout locations for our Sacred Gathering in October 2026 in the Sacred Valley. What a trip! It revealed so much to me—clear insights, inspiration, and moments that fed my spirit.
During that week, we met extraordinary people and learned about Andean culture. We also gave thanks, visited sacred sites, walked in nature, and enjoyed delicious and healthy food. On top of that, we breathed pure mountain air, prayed, laughed, cried, and lived each moment fully. In short, the experience was pure magic. I cannot wait to share it with all of you.
Discovering Chile: Recharging in the Enchanting Elqui Valley
After Peru, I flew to Santiago, Chile, to visit my dear friend Paula and explore the stunning Valle del Elqui. Oh my goodness, I only need to close my eyes to return to that powerful place.
Elqui Valley felt peaceful, uplifting, and spiritually rich. It became the perfect ending to my two-month sabbatical. I joined Paula’s Origen Yoga Retreat for the weekend, and it was truly spectacular. I met beautiful people, enjoyed incredible food, and took long walks through majestic mountains. With every step, I processed everything I had experienced. It was simply magical.
I have never felt closer to the stars in my life. The valley is famous for stargazing thanks to its dry climate, high elevation, and protected skies with very little light pollution. As a result, it offers over 300 clear nights each year. Without a doubt, this destination is part of the upcoming Del Mar Adventures 2027.
Costa Rica Cloud Forest: The First Del Mar Adventures Experience
Now, back home in Costa Rica, I hosted my first Del Mar Adventures Experience in the Cloud Forest of San Gerardo de Dota. What a blessing.
Eleven wonderful souls came together to move, walk, laugh, eat, and give thanks. This gathering reaffirmed what I’ve always believed. When I follow my heart, work with love, and share meaningful experiences with you, everything aligns.
As I write this with a big smile, I want to share a glimpse of that unforgettable weekend. I also want to invite you to join us in the upcoming Del Mar Adventures experiences planned for 2026.
