DAY 01
Arrival · Escazú
Settle into Casa 41, your boutique home base in the Escazú mountains.
Finca La Lucía
A full day of hiking, natural pools, and harvesting your own food, closing with dinner
back at Casa 41.
Onward to Turrialba
Transfer to the Turrialba mountains and check into Hacienda La Esperanza on the
Aquiares coffee estate.
DAY 04
Turrialba Volcano
Hike one of Costa Rica’s great active strato volcanoes.
DAY 05
Farm & Field Day
E-bike through sugar cane fields and ride horseback through coffee plantations.
Optional add-on: whitewater rafting on Río Pejibaye.
DAY 06
Onward to San Gerardo de Dota
Transfer into the cloud forest and settle into Trogón Lodge along the Savegre River.
DAY 07
Cloud Forest & Quetzal Search
Guided hikes, a search for the resplendent quetzal, and a cold plunge in the
Savegre River.
DAY 08
Departure
Depart from the cloud forest, trip complete.
